A Different Idea

Hello everyone out there, i just wanted to see what everyone thought of my different idea. Well me and my dad arent really close, we are close but we dont have that special "father/daughter bond" and i honestly dont even know if he is planning on coming to my wedding, it being in NYC and he for some reason hates NYC.. So i was thinking of maybe having my grandmother walk me down the isle.. Or is that tooo far out there??

If you`re not that close to your father, but your grandmother is a special part of your life, why not have her walk you down the aisle? There is not a thing wrong with that. It`s your wedding - you do what is best for you!

In my case, my parents are divorced and I want them to both have a part of this, so I am walking down the aisle with both of them.

I think that is a wonderful idea. It is your special day, and I think you can have whoever you want walk you down the aisle. I`m sure your Grandmother willl be touched! Good Luck!
