Does He Notice Me?

There is this guy who is in 10th grade and i am in 9th but age doesnt matterfor me. I just dont know what to do cause he aint in any of my classes except gym and my lunch but he doesnt sit in the cafeteria and he has a different gym coach i do. I want to ask him to a dance but first me and my friends decided i should actually talk to him so he doesnt freak out when a person he doesnt knoe asks him out. I would talk to him but he seems to be shy and i am too we both play soccer so we have one hting in common but i dont think i have enough confidence and dont know what to say if i get the chance. Plz if you have any advcie id love it : )
