Reem Acra "Super Duper" Ballgown $1500 Obo

Reem Acra`s Super Duper from her Spring 2006 collection (runwayed late 2005, in stores early 2006) collection. Same season as The Winner and Make Me Shine. Retails for $7100 at Saks and Reem Acra Salon NY. Dress is an ivory ballgown with train. The bust, bottom of the front of the dress, and train are all beautifully beaded with gold and silver. It is a size 10; however, it was slightly taken out—about ¾" on each side (see picture). My measurements when I wore it were around 37", 29", 39". The dress was taken out from about my natural waist up (ie to allow more room for my ribcage and bust). No material was cut. The gown could easily be taken back in or let out. Besides the addition of a bustle for the train (in the pictures of the dress hanging, the dress is bustled), no other alterations were made. The dress was not hemmed. Including heels, I was 5`10" when I wore it. I wore a very large crinoline underneath to add extra "poof" and lift the dress up. Without the added crinoline/poof, it could easily fit someone 6` (including heels).
