Help With First Dance

First of all congratulations on your engagement. Now that is a tough question, I can`t say I`ve seen it before. Maybe you could go out on the dance floor, you sit facing him and you could each recite a poam or even the words to a special song, with music playing in the background. Congratulations on your engagement! I think that the recital of the poem is a wonderful idea. I am also engaged to a man in a wheelchair. I have been thinking of the same dilema. A friend of mine shared how she was a guest at a wedding where the groom held the bride in his lap and moved the chair around. Maybe together you can find a way to make your first dance memoriable. Could you hold his hands and just sway back and forth? I also like the idea of sitting in his lap while he moves his chair back and forth.
