Hi,
I am a great facepainter/henna artist/ and I plan parties as well and also do costuming for the theatre and musicals.
We recently did Seussical with a group of kids from Manhattan School of
Music and it was great. I love Dr. Seuss and have great ideas about
How to bring your party tto life.
Suggestions include a pick the clover game ( like in Horton hears a who)
The kids pick pink clovers ( we made a small field of pink clovers for the
Show) and each clover has a number that gives you a prize or if you`re not
Prize oriented - contains a fortune.
I can paint kids to look like the cat in the hat or horton or paint
Great pics of the different characters. If you have any friends or talented
Relatives that would perform at your event in a video or onstage( I`m not
Sure how big or small your B Mitzvah is. Also there may be a dress
Up area where people can take pics of themselves dressed like a Seuss
Character. Special Dr. Seuss food like Green Eggs and Ham - there
Are candy molds that you can get someone to make or get gummy eggs
And ham in green made by a candy company for gifts. Or chocolate
Green eggs and ham. You could also make sure they serve a roast beast
(prime rib or beef) Each food on the buffet line could
Be called something Seuss-y. From a dish of Green eggs( made from eggs
With basil ) , Green ham - turkey ham with a green glaze, the lorax ( chicken fingers), Mculligan`s salmon, I`m sure I can think of more.
I know it will be a lot of fun! Dr. Seuss is the best. I love Seussical!
