Planning A Big Event

Do you have a budget? For years, out H.S. Has been hosting a lock-in following graduation. Now in our area many H.S. Have followed suit, to keep everyone safe!
They get donations from everyone in town, parents, local businesses, teachers etc. Almost every attendee goes home with something. They have raffles throughout the night. Prizes from gift certificates for food, hair places, tanning salons, BestBuy, well you get the idea.Once a student commites to it no one can leave unless parents are called. Then at 6:30 in the morning the grand prize winner is announced. That is usually a large money gift.....$1000.00 or more depending on donations. They have activities all night long. Someone doing caricatures, of course a DJ, make your own video, sumo wrestling, fortune tellers, dance contests, food from everywhere......local McDonalds, all our pizza places, bakeries, sub sandwich places, everywhere and it is replenished all night long. We have almost 100% participation, almost every year. It takes alot of donations, volunteers etc. Parents and teachers go through old pictures from grammar school, and have them reprinted and hang them all in the hallways. It makes for a great night.
