Is there any issues w davids bridal in orlando by the millenia mall i tried on dresses there and am not sure if i want to go back because of the sales people. Although i will say i had a very nice girl that helped me in the ft. Lauderdale area by commercial blvd. And i also went to the one in atlanta and the lady would tell me everything looked great even though it would be apparent that it didn`t ut, it was thanksgiving weekend so it was really busy

The sales people at the David`s Bridal stores in Colorado are also very rude. I went in on three different occasions and recieved the same results every time. I also contacted the corporate offices and they did nothing. I will not ever go in one of their stores again

Just wanted to add that I have also experienced an awful time with the David`s Bridal in Columbus Ohio. I had an appointment (waited atleast 40 minutes), and would have stormed out crying (after the sales lady called me thick, asked if I lifted weights when looking at my arms) had i not had two of my future bridesmaids with me to fetch me dresses and give me their opinions. The sales lady ( my "consultant" as she liked to call herself, HAH!) also told my friend to settle down and quit getting out more dresses, yet she was happy to have them put them away for her! Unfortunately my first time trying on wedding gowns was this specific time! I will go again, not to Davids though! Sorry about your experienc too!

I also had a bad experience. I went to David`s Bridal in Ft. Myers, Fl. Just opened July 7th. We asked if we could take the dresses and go to a dressing room. They said I had to wait for a consultant to try on the dresses. I waited 1 hour. They took me to a dressing room and left me there only to return when I was getting ready to leave. If it had not been for my sister I would have had no help trying the dresses on. The sales people suck.

I placed an order for a Bra on Jan. 1st of this year at the Davids Bridal at Mall of Millenia. They said it would take 2-3 weeks. Time went on and I had forgotten and about mid March my Mother stumbled over the receipt and realized that we had not heard from them. She called and got a huge run around and was told she would be called back that evening. A week went by and we called again. After many calls, we got nowhere. They acted as if they had no record of the order. We had the receipt with the sales associates name on it and they told us that they did not have a worker by that name. So needless to say it is now a week before the wedding and my Mother has filed a grievance against them with her credit card company that already paid for the bra. We ordered a new bra from the boutique that I purchased my dress from and it was $10.00 cheaper. My advice, stay away from David`s Bridal!!!! Thank God it was only a bra and not my dress!

I live in Colorado where the davids Bridal stores are just awful! The rudest sales people you have ever seen! I went there with my bridesmaids and we were looking at the clearance rack. After we had picked several dresses for them to try on, the sales lady said to us "You have got to be kidding me! Those dresses are not on sale." I agree with the advise posted here, stay away from Davids if you want your wedding day to be a success!

My experience with David`s Bridal wasn`t that bad other than the fact that the sales lady wouldn`t let me change into the bra without her watching me. That bothered me a bit. My biggest problem though, came after I tried on the dresses. They wouldn`t stop calling my house! They left messages all the time and I finally had to be rude to them and tell them to stop calling. I still get junk mail from them and we suspect that they gave our home phone number to other venders because other people started calling after them and knew our wedding date. Buyer beware! If you plan on going to David`s give a fake number!

I recently visited a Davids Bridal in Mayfield, Ohio. Myself, and my sisters bridal party had the worse experiance. They were rude, and not very helpful. I`m just glad I saw how they were before my own wedding planning this month.

Well Im sure glad that I stumblelled across this website before I went to Davids Bridal, I live in Toronto, Canada and was going to go one weekend to look at dresses, but I really don`t need the hassel of driving that far for poor treatment when looking for something so important. Thank you for the heads-up!

I have had the worst service at David`s Bridal. When I first went there with a couple of girls from my bridal party to LOOK AT DRESSES, we felt that we were pressured to buy because they claimed it was the time to shop for dresses, 6 months before the wedding, and because of their discounts. A week or so later, I went with my other bridesmaid to get HER dress, but the style number was not on file. So we picked out a dress that I thought the other girls picked out. It turns out it was a different style but I couldn`t exchange it because the other dress was unable to get in her child size. I figured she`s the jr. Bridesmaid so it should be ok to have a different dress, they were all a wine color. When we came back, last week, for fittings and alterations I noticed the dress` color wine was totally different because the fabric was different. My neice, a quickly developing 13 yo, couldn`t fit her chest into her dress, but she couldn`t get a size higher for 2 reasons: 1. The dress was discontinued and 2. David`s Bridal doesnt` even exchange sizes of dresses purchased over 90 days.
My sister didn`t fit into her dress because she gained weight. My best friend just had a baby and doesn`t fit into her dress. Almost my whole bridal party has to buy 2 dresses because David`s Bridal insisted we buy the dresses 6 months ago and they each have issues fitting into them. What did customer service say when I called them? They are not responsible for people gaining weight.
Also: When I asked about dresses being discontinued they told me that it happens because a style is not selling...so telling me in other words my style sucks!
Also: When my mother was trying on dresses in the fitting room, the lady (who followed us around and dominated our conversations) yells out my mothers size, a larger than avg. Size, for people around the store to here...not a size number my mother wanted publicized.
I have never had such inappropriate, unprofessional and uncaring service in my life!!!

My bestfriend, another friend and I were looking for a specific dress. We were told at a show that they had this dress. 1) They did not have the dress we were looking for. We decided that since we were already there we would try on some. The sales lady was polite but didnt show the bride the proper attention that she should have. She was back and forth between us and another girl. 2) She kept insisting that my friend purchase a tiara that we all thought was a bit gauwdy and didnlt look right on the bride. 3) When her self-proclaimed "favorite bride-to-be" came into the store she practically ignored us to help her out. 4) The saleslady insisted that the gown be purchased that day or we wouldnt be able to get the sale price, after we had already told her that price was not an issue. I was very disappointed with our experience all around. This was at one of the St. Louis Mo stores

I purchased my dress at the David`s Bridal at Millenia, and I had nothing but an extremely pleasant experience. My "consultant" was wonderful and very patient with me. I came back 3 times before I finally purchased "the" dress, and she was wonderful every time. My bridesmaids and I even brought mimosas as refreshments during one of my trips. But I would definitely make an appointment - I walked right in with no wait every time I did.
