Matching Up With Lavender
I am having trouble coming up with colors to compliment lavender. I would not mind two additional colors that really stand out or two other soft colors> Really need some help and ideas. Wedding date is March 13, 2004

A beautiful combination is lavendar and ivory. It looks very elegant. Some other combinations you may consider are:
Lavendar/Mint
Lavendar/Baby Blue
Lavendar/Soft Pink
Lavendar/Soft Yellow
Lavendar/Gold
Lavendar/Silver
Try to envision the colors together and depending on the style of the wedding and your personalities, you can find a complementing combination.

Hi! My colors are Lavender,Silver, Baby blue and Ivory.I think that lavender is a color that can be great with all types of color combinations.Goodluck!!

Woa anyways I am also using lavender I am having sage lavender and cream, maybe a hint of silver as well. I have seen many favors linens etc with these combos and they look nice I do not know your wedding date but mine is in June. Hope this helps

Everyone knows lavendar is an unlucky color for weddings, haven`t you read Feng Shui for weddings? The worst color combinations are: lavendar and silver (means you will divorce in 2 years), lavendar and pink (divorce in 3 years) and lavendar and white (divorce in 9 years).

Lavendar, Pearl with Gold Accents
This will allow my wedding to be the romantic, glamorous and most beautiful that I have always dreamed of. The first reply really helped me out. These were my first thought of colors but I just did not know what they would look like until I saw them in Southern Weddings.

That feng shui stuff must have been written by people who`s life really sucked and so they sit around and think up philosophies that allow them to blame life`s tragedies on putting their garbage can in the wrong corner of the room or putting the wrong two colors together at their wedding. Divorce happens. Life happens.......no matter WHICH corner of your room the trash can is in. If life were that simple, everyone would use X and Y colors and stay together forever, trash can in such-and-such position would keep disease away and we could get rid of medical research expenses, and making your house face the sun at 6:00 would keep your wallet full. Give me a break!!!! Pick the colors you like and enjoy!!!
