Copywrited 1942 Newman Decor

I have a watercolor that I bought at a yard sale for $25.00. Looks like its been in someone`s attic forever and the plain wood frame has been painted white. It`s a tropical scene with exotic off-white birds and some pinkish mauve flowers and greenery in the background. The back of the picture has a stamp reading "Copywrited 1942 Newman Decor." It`s signed by "Adams." Can anyone tell me anything about the artist or the company?
