I am doing a beach wedding with a Hawaiian theme too.
Mine will be casual so the groom and his guys will wear Hawaiian flowewred shirts with shorts.
The girls and I will wear flowered dresses.
If yours will be more formal, you can have beautiful Leis instead of corsages.
Tiki torches painted white are great outdoors. Tropical flowers everywhere. Large Shells can be used for deocrations, to hold food, place cards, etc. Coconut shells can be used for this too.
Serving tropical type food helps add to the theme. Pineapple, mango, papaya, kiwi, banana are all great cut up and served with a fruit dip or just cool whip. Punch- equal parts pineapple, orange, lemon juices frozen then mixed with ginger ale is awesome! Use little umbrellas.
Have your servers wear grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts.
Just think about the old Gilligans Island shows. EVERYTHING was tropical!
The possibilites are endless. Check out your local party store for ideas too!
