Cruise Wedding/Destination Wedding

I am having a destination wedding in the D.R. In April and i am looking for cute and creative do-it yourself ideas.

I am also in a wedding in November which will take place on a cruise ship. I want to tie the theme in with the shower. Any thoughts or ideas for decorations or gifts?
