Need ideas for outdoor wedding decorations

Okay kids, I'm going to try this again since we've got so many vendors now on the site. I'm looking for inexpensive, but beautiful, outdoor wedding decorations. I am getting married on Mother's Day so trying to find a florist has turned into a major feat with our budget. I've managed to come up with an idea for centerpieces, but I'm getting completely burnt out on trying to come up with other decorations. We're not into the "arch" thing... but I'm open to pretty much anything else.

Hi Leah and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Mother`s Day....I`m surprised you even got a florist!!!

You don`t give much information for people to help you. You said you already have your centerpieces? What else do you want? Are you having a tent? I would suggest tulle and mini white lights to make it fancier. Is it by a pond? You can get extra large floating candles that are specially made for pools, ponds, etc. You could buy little small plants - even mini roses and put them in beautiful baskets for the centerpieces if you did not want to go with flowers. Give them away at the end of the reception. You can always get columns at various craft stores and decorate them.

If you give more specifics on WHAT it is you are looking for maybe someone else will have ideas for you! Good luck!

Hi Leah---

You could always purchase from an Asian import
Shop or special party store---

Japanese paper lanterns
You can rent silk topiaries---I have some for
Rent and could custom make some for you
Rent small ficus trees with mini lights
Make candle luminaries to light pathways
(find luminary shades at party store)
If you can find at garden store---
Some lattice work screens --you could decorate
With fresh or silk flowers to section off certain
Areas of outdoor area
Hope these ideas are helpful
