Reception Game
This game is ideal for Receptions, Conferences, Christmas Parties, Company Parties. Make up a bunch of bingo cards (eliminate the B.I.N.G.O and leave the blank squares. Depending on your reception size, you can make as many squares as you want on the card. Type or hand write inside each box something unique you know about several, many or all guests (depends on how many squares you want to do)
Example: She had a baby on July 4th, 2000
Next square: He plays hooky from work and goes flyfishing
Next square: She sleeps with a teddy bear/frog/dinosaur
Next square: He is an engineer (occupation)
Next square: She has been married 30 years
Next square: His middle name is Edward
You get the idea. Place cards at table or entrance to the reception and have the MC/DJ announce the rules at the begining of the reception. Depending on how many squares you have, depends on the pattern you want to do, ..full card, wedding bell shape, 10 down, 5 across, whatever you choose. The guests must mingle to get signatures from the other guests that: had the baby on July 4th, engineer, sleeps with toy, etc. BUT, no one can sign the same card twice! You may have someone who is an engineer AND goes flyfishing. Guests must get a different signature on each square (initials are okay too). At the end of the reception the person with a full card, 10 down, 5 across, etc ...wins a centerpiece, kiss from the bride, ride around the block in the decorated getaway car/limo, bottle of champagne. It really gets the guests mingling and laughing at some of the silly little quirks about another guest. Who knows, you might even get a bunch of single guests finding their own soul mate at your wedding! Good Luck!
