Davids Bridal Question??

I purchased my dress at Davids Bridal. I was wondeirng if someone could tell me where I could find "in writing" a copy of their "Exchange" policy. I was told that once the dress come in (8-12 weeks) and I pick it up and take the dress home, I have 90 days to bring the dress back and exchange it for a different size. Not a different dress, but a different size. That was what I wanted to do (incase of losing or gaining weight). THe store manager told me that it was a "corporate policy". I asked why it wasn`t in writing then and she either did not hear me (giving her the benfit of the doubt) or ignored me completely. I asked the store manager to write it on the reciept, she wouldn`t. (Makes me nervous, why not if it is corporate policy?). She gave me the customer service number to call and she said that it was posted on their website. I could not find it on thier website and the customer service rep., Robin Stemer, is out sick until tomorrow. I tried just calling customer service and speaking to anyone, but I got voicemail. Can anyone help me find this policy? Please let me know. Thank you.

Sincerely,
A Concerned Bride

I found the link at David`s Bridal...it was buried under their help section and combined with the online ordering process. The second sentence on the site states "Please note that items purchased at David`s Bridal stores cannot be returned or exchanged." Here is the link:

I hope this helps!

I am buy my dress from davids bridal too and they told me the same thing... That I could exchange my dress within 3 months for another size but they wouldnt put it in wrighting. I wish i saw your comment before i put my dress in layaway. They push you to buy the dress saying you can exchange then once its purchased they dont want to be bothered. Sorry for that.

Thank you for the comments and the help. I love the dress and I believe that I oredered the correct size. I finally got a call back from the customer service rep. And she told me that it was an unwritten policy, but that I could exchange the dress within 3 months (90 days) of picking it up and taking it home. It just had to be in excellent condition (just as if it never left the store) and still int he bag and everything. So I will let you know in December what happens... Good luck to all of the other brides out there, just enjoy planning your weddings and have fun!
