What did you like the best about the Geraldine gown? It would be helpful to know which were your favorite features, so I can try to match them in our inventory.

The gowns sold in our salon are genuine couture gowns, complete with designer tags. Because your wedding is so close, I highly suggest not ordering anything "custom made" from a knockoff seller. There is no guarantee that it will be done on time.

I wasn`t referring to you. I was giving a statement in general. Ordering a gown from overseas with only 2 weeks until the wedding is cutting it way too close.

I`ve been in the business for close to 20 years, not only selling online but selling in our retail couture salon.

I`m sure you both have lovely gowns, no need to fight! I`ve found a similar "back-up gown" already this morning, so really just looking for an original Melissa Sweet Geraldine in a size 10. Hoping maybe another bride out there has one she would sell or rent.

Thanks for the reply Jen. It normally doesn`t get this way. That`s the thing about the internet- without being able to hear the tone of one`s voice, it`s easy to assume that you`re being insulted when you`re not. I apologize, Kelly, if you thought I was trying to insult you.

In any case, our inventory sheet does show that we do have the Geraldine gown in stock, but it`s packed away awaiting the Grand Opening of our newest store in Portland. The store isn`t scheduled to open until Sept 1st.
