I have Pronovias Evasion dress, size 10(not altered in any way), I am 5`2`` and wore 3.5 inch heels. My wedding was two months ago and I am currently considering selling it, but not totally sure. Would you be able to make me an offer?

I have now found a shop that are able to order it for me as long as I place my order before 31st December.
They have quoted me £1,8200 brand new.

Could you give me a guideline of what sort of price you would be looking for so that I can see whether it would be worth it for a second hand one?

Also where abouts are you based as I would like to try it on before committing to a payment?

Not sure if you have received my response to your message but I would still definately be interested in your dress.
The price would just have to reflect that a brand new one would be £1,800
I have looked on some web-sites and £800 - £900 seems to be pretty much the average for a second hand Pronovias gown.
Please respond as I will have to move quickly. I only have until the end of December to decide as that is the deadline for ordering a new one.

Hi Jessamine, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I would be happy to sell my dress for £900- it is in excellent condition and with 50% off the price of a brand new one, it is definitely worth a look.

Whereabouts are you in the UK? I am in Northern Ireland. You are very welcome to come and try on the dress and I would be happy to negotiate a lower price if you are coming a long distance. Let me know if you are still interested.

Northern Ireland! I am based in Birmingham, West Midlands so that really wouldn`t be practical.

If you could send me the measurements of the dress and any pictures I would really appreciate that.
So you say it`s a size 10 unaltered?
What dres size do you normally take on the high street and what is your shape?

Sorry, to ask so many questions but I`m sure you can appreciate that paying £900 for a dress I have never seen or tried on is extremely risky as it`s a lot of money to lose if it doesn`t fit.

Hi Jessamine, yes I know NI is a bit impractical for trying on a dress!!! Do you have a Pronovias stockist near you where you can try it on? In terms of size, I am a 32-34" bust, 27" waist, and 33" hips. I wear a size 8-10 in most high street shops. You`ll find Pronovias sizes are very close to dress sizes- disregard the rumours that tell you all wedding dresses are sized very small. Some are like that, eg. Maggie Sottero dresses, but Pronovias run true to size. As I said before, I am 5`2" and I wore 3.5 inch heels. The straps and bust of the dress are totally unaltered.

My wedding is September 6, 2009. It`s a size 8, but should be altered close to a size 6 (let`s see). Would I consider selling...Good question, not sure, but possibly.
