Destination Wedding & Wedding Celebration
Do I need to invite the people we are traveling with to a destination wedding to the local after party? I am only invite 40 to the destination and about 70 to the after party. I dont want the travel group to feel obligated to come twice, gift twice or feel left out of the entire experience.

Hi Christine: Congratulations!
If I understand your question correctly.....you are having a destination wedding and reception and then another reception (local) when you return home. You don`t say, but I am just assuming that you ARE having a reception after the ceremony at the destination site.
These are two separate events so two invitations are needed. An invitation to the destination wedding and reception/party for the 40 people you are inviting to that. Then another reception invitation to the group of 70 who will celebrate with you locally.
If you are having the wedding ceremony videotaped, it`s nice to show it at your local reception for that group who did not attend. Good luck!

HelloChristina,
My name isSteve with www.GoldenSoundsEntertainment.com.
You probably should make up a couple different invites to your events and reception parties. That way you know who is coming and who RSVP. I own a DJ, Lighting, Audio/Visuual, Sound, Company and I have been all over the world DJ-ing Destination Weddings and Corporate Events. I have been blessed to be part of so many wonderful weddings. A few brides have asked me the same question you are asking now. Try to find out who will be attending your after part, and I think this may help you.
Good luck and I hope I helped.
Have a wonderful day!
