Bustle

Hello, I am actually asking a question for my mother. She has sown her whole life and is getting frustrated with my sisters wedding dress that needs to be bustled from underneath. She is having a difficult time doing it and the wedding is in less than 3 weeks and no time to take it anywhere. Does anyone have any good tips or advice on directions how to do this?

Here are several links to websites that will tell you everything you need to know about how to do various kinds of bustles. A couple even have actual pictures so you can see the way various kinds of bustles will make different types of gowns actually look.

						I would do a pick-up bustle.
For someone who has not done a bustle before I think it would be the easiest because it only has one button (anchor) as opposed to the several underpinnings of a french bustle.
