Help W/ Periwinkle Color!

Hello Everyone.
I am planning a wedding for june 2004 and am planning on using periwinkle as the color for the bridesmaid dresses. Can anyone give me some suggestions on other colors that might go well with periwinkle for the theme. And in case you do not know, periwinkle is a bluish/lavender color. Please help!

I am also getting married in June and my colors are Periwinkle and Banana w/ ivy and silver accents. It is absolutely gorgeous. My maid of honor made my bouquet and it is outstanding. The yellow makes a great color. Another color that is pretty is a mauve/purple or even a cream color looks good. Hope this is a help

Periwinkle and a subdued yellow - not school bus yellow :) They look great together! If you look on the color wheel that artists use, you will find that they are complimentary colors. Good Luck!

I was going to go with Periwinkle (I love the color) but we changed our mind to go with a Precious Moments theme. You can find the servers, unity candle, cake top etc. With the periwinkle bows at www.weddingcram.com - they have free shipping which was a bonus. If anyone is interested I still have a unity candle left that I`m looking to sell.

Good Luck!

Periwinkle, can be several different shades of blueish lavendar to different people. A tip I have given to other poeple that have came into the floral shop that I work at is bring a piece of the fabric that you have of that color. From my experience soft colors of pink, yellow, purples, cream or white go very well with it. Most florist will be happy to let you look at flowers that will help match up. Good luck and go with what you like.:)

I am getting married in July 2004 and my colors are different shades perriwinkle. I choose to have the bridesmaids dresses a more blue with white accents, For the groomsmen they are wearing grey suits with blueish tie and vests. My wedding is mostly going to be white but I will have a few sage accents to go with perriwinkle
