Halloween Party Games For Adults

I was hoping someone could help me.....we are starting to plan our Halloween party for 2003. Building props, planning activities, etc. Our problem is last year, it seemed everyone seemed a little bored just drinking and standing around the fire. What are some fun games that adults could do? If you have had an success with any at your party, please email me and let me know. Thanks!

You could do a haunted house using trash bags as dividers or u can do the classic game on halloween CLUE! You get one person to plan it and that person who plans it doesn`t play b/c they know the secrets but they plan who the killer is and u get character roles its fun if u like to act.

I too, am planning a Halloween party, and have come up with some fun adult party ideas.

1) With a large chalk board or dry erase board, you can divide your group up in teams and play a Halloween Pictionary version, using drawing ideas that you have come up with, Halloween related. They should pick the challenge from a "hat" so that it`s fair.

2) You can use a similar idea for cherades.

3) You can host a small game of trivia of a Halloween related questions. (I got some from http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0079844/
Which I could easily make questions from all the info they provided about movies, look up all the creepy ones)

I`m also providing door prizes (you can pick up great little things from dollar stores, etc.) for best home made costume, and for winning games.

The invitations are made from cutting words out of the newspaper so that it looks like a ransom note, and then copied on a printer.

I`m not even mentioning all the great creepy food fare!

I am also planning a Halloween party this year, and have had some problems thinking up some fun adult Halloween games. I came up with a couple: a screaming contest, and also a skit game. For the skit game, divide your guests into teams of 3-4 and give them 10 minutes or so to think up a funny (but also SCARY) Halloween skit to act out in front of the other guests. Think of it as kind of like "Whose Line is it Anyway". The main thing is, your guests somehow have to incorporate their "Halloween personalities" into the skit...like, if someone dressed up as Cleopatra is in a team with the Grim Reaper and Frankenstein, they all somehow have to incorporate that into their skit (like Cleo is basking on the Nile when suddenly the Grim Reaper comes to kill her, and Frankenstein limps in to the rescue)!

Well for one, we are haveing a professional psychic come and perform a seance, and tarot card reading for each of the guests. There is a game we will probably play where each person reaches into a bowl and pulls out a piece of paper. The paper has either Killer, or Victim writen on it. There is only 1 killer, and they must go around and secretly "Kill" the other players. If you have been "killed" you have to dramaticly die in front of the other players. Your mission is to figure out who the killer is before they kill you. Who ever gets it gets a prize. It can take just a few minutes or the whole night and it`s lots of fun.

In response to one of the suggestions - pin the condom on the ghost, just hope your not going to use the condom after :)

I was thinking on the lines of the game you used to play at school where you sat in a circle and if the killer winked at you you had to die, one person would then have to guess who the killer is. As it`s a party you wouldn`t want everyone sat in a circle all night so it would be good to adapt it so people can move around.

I was also thinking of a game where clues, etc are around the house and the first person to solve the clue would win a prize.

A scream contest, not to see how can scream the loadest but who can scream the least, everyone has to try their best to scare others at the party to make them scream, if a person screams they have a dare!!!!!
