Before you slander someone, you may want to get your ducks in a row.
I have known Syndi Shy for 6 years. She is a wonderful event planner, caterer and restaurant owner.
I have attended events wherein she organized and catered functions of over 500 guests for Honda, Children`s Hospital, The State of Ohio, Time Warner Cable and numerous other large corporations not to mention weddings, family functions, corporate luncheons, etc.
Her presentations are beautiful, the food is always wonderful, and she is gracious, polite and most of all, she is a lady.
Most of the complaints ever received are from people who increase the number of guests at a function without wanting to pay for it, don`t pay what they owe,or try to cancel at the last minute. If people honor the contract they sign and perform as they should, the functions go off without a hitch.
Sour grapes are tough to swallow and these spiteful people are choking on them. If they really have a legitimate complaint, why don`t they provide their full names and a phone number so fair defense can be discussed? It`s easy to judge when you don`t have to defend your accusations because no one knows who you are. Slander and defamation of character are serious accusations, and I seriously doubt that the media would take up for someone who won`t even identify themselves and without getting both sides of a story.
As a corporate executive, I will continue to recommend Syndi and her services to anyone desiring a memorable event executed with grace, style and personal attention. She is a wonderful person who genuinely cares about others and does not deserve this angst from you kids.

My Natalie is Natalie and my Number is 614-308-5911 if you would like to talk about what happened at my wedding. I am gald as I said before you had a good experience. However we are all not just making up the same things. I did not change the number of guest and I did not get anything I paid for. I did not have center pieces on all of my tables and my favors were completely wrong. I also had to replace my ckae an hour before the wedding and I recieved no servers and two people who served the wine did not even know how to open a bottle. We were promised our cake cutter in the CONTRACT and did not get those. Can you image going to YOUR WEDDING and not be able to cut you own CAKE. Please feel free to call me or look up the other complaints beofre you start to judge. Do you really believe this many people have the same issue with Syndi. Please call me at any time I am more than happy to talk to you about what happened. I have also talked with the others and I know they are good people who put trust in Syndi and did not get what they paid for. Have you even looked up the other complaints about Syndi in California, etc. Agian I have nothing to hide, if you would like to talk, you can directly give me a call.

I am trying to figure out how Syndi Shy caters all of these events that you claim she caters, she doesn`t have a liscense from the health dept. And she will have a hard time getting one because of the horriffic lies that she told Mike at the health dept and Kim at the everal barn. The rediculous lies she tells and the nonsense that she claims to have done. And I don;t know how or why you think she runs a restraunt well, because there isn`t one. Another lie. She told me that it was on powell rd, she told the guy at the health dept it was on maize rd, he works for the health dept, does she really think he can`t just look up her stories? I paid for 2 kinds of chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, vegetable trays, fruit trays, salad, mac and cheese, rolls, table linens, and cake cutting all of wchich was supposed to come with a team of professional servers, I got her tacky little greasy haired assistant and her son, and 3 pans of chicken which she wasn`t allowed to serve because there was no
Health food liscense. I din`t change anything and I was nothing but wonderful to her. I paid her $2500.00 all up front and she did nothing but lie.
This is not slander or defimation of character, this is fact all documented, recorded on video, pictures of the grossest looking chicken in the world which she through at our youth minister which she continually called the worst curse words I have ever heard. Honey,there is nothing Lady like or classy about this woman. And she has been sued so many times by so many people and she keeps on doing it over and over again, she tells the judge she isn`t working and they can`t attach any of her assets because she owns NOTHING! she puts everything in Brandons name so noone can take anything. She also sold franchises of her tailgate BBQ company for $25,000 to a lot of people and then didnt turn anything over to any of them. How and why she is out of jail doing this over and over again is beyond us all. All of us who have been screwed over by her think the 2 people in the whole world who have ever had anything good come from her wonder how you got it. And if you would like to call me on this story and see the video and pics of the crap she pulled call me. By the way the westerville cops that had to force her to leave our reception found her rather amusing too.
