DISPOSABLE CAMERAS!!!!
I am having a few disposable cameras at my reception on tables and am trying to find a cute saying to put with them. I`m trying to stay away from the generic lines, so if anybody has any ideas let me know please! Thanks!

Hi Angie - I bought some of those cameras for my wedding and they came with little cards that you put on the table. The saying that came along with it was this:
"Take a few pictures, then pass the camera around. Please leave camera on the table, as we look forward to seeing your pictures of our special day!"
Hope that helps!!!

My Fiance is trying to convince me that we should not hire a photographer for the reception and just buy disposable cameras-Anyone ever try this with bad/good results? I just wonder how many good pictures actually come out of those things I`m picturing lots of drunken floor/ceiling shots!!

I agree with Becky. The disposable cameras on the tables are a neat idea, I plan to do it myself, but that`s more for candid shots of your guests. They`re not intended to replace an actual photographer. Years from now when you want to remember your day, you want some beautiful pictures to remind you - not candid shots of drunken guests. Don`t do it!

I`m not getting rid of my photographer, I`m having both! I think the candid shots are usually the best.

We are going to make it like a game. Each table will have a list of missions. This is a great ice breaker for the guest to get to know one another during the evening. Make sure you include a crazy group picture of each table

I love the "missions" idea.
I had also read somewhere that someone had their guests bring their 35 mm cameras and the bride and groom provided the film for the guests to take and drop in a box...may come out cheaper and with better pics if thats a route you wanna take.

This mission idea sounds fantastic - what sort of things did you have in mind - I`ve been trying to think of some kind of ice-breaker idea and I`d love to hear more!
Re the disposable cameras - I`d agree that you don`t want to rely too heavily on them for your photos - think these cameras are a great idea but the pictures don`t come out that great (people forget the flash etc) or are quickly forgotten so you dont get much beyond the standard couple of table pictures. Cameras getting "lost" afterwards seems to be an issue as well.
Good luck!

We are still working on the "missions". Most of the missions will be pictures on the bridal party and our parents.
