The Trouble With Tartan

My wedding is planned for October 26,2008. My fiance is scottish and will be wearing a kilt. His tartan is Henderson Ancient, so it`s Green, Dark Green, Blue, yellow and White. My dress is a cream gown with silver celtic knotwork. Since its a fall wedding, i`d like to stick to richer autumn colors, which leads me to the darker green for bridesmaids dresses. I have no idea where to go from there. It seems that most examples of boquets are mostly lighter green, which i`m not too sure how a bunch of different colors of green will look together. I would like my boquet to be mostly cream--Cala lillys maybe.....I dont know.....HELP!!! If you have any helpful links, please send them to alicia_dickerson@yahoo.com

I have done a wedding in Scotland. The Scotish/English bouquets and flowers are much different than that of the USA. They use more natural foliage such as ivies, magnolia, rhododendron and so on. The designs are more natural with rich deep greens and flowers of the season. Think of an English Garden this time of year and you will find if full of pods and berries ripening for the long winter. Beautiful oranges, browns, reds, ambers. Also the use of herbs such as lavender, rosemary, thyme are classic flowers of the land.
