Bridal Shower Gift Ideas For My Boyfriend`s Daughter
I have been invited to a bridal shower for my boyfriend`s (of a year) daughter. We get along great and have a close relationship developing. She is 25 and I don`t want to get her something too personal but I don`t want to "step on her Mother`s toes" and get her someting too personal. Her Father and Mother have been divorced longer then they were married (17 years) and she is very happily remarried but displayed small concern over having me at the shower. Any ideas?

You can never go wrong with Gift Certificates.
A nice picture frame would work also.
Maybe you can have her father find out something that she really needs or want for her home.

Is she registered anywhere? You can`t go wrong getting something from the registry. Is there a "theme" to the shower? (lingerie, kitchen, etc.) That would make it easier for you. I think asking her Dad is a good idea. (Can`t imagine why her mother, after this length of time, would object to you being at the shower, unless she is afraid you will try to upstage her, which you clearly would not do.)
I often give a set of monogrammed bath towels (two each, bath, hand, washcloth) as a shower gift, either in a color she has registered for, or in a nice neutral ivory. Can`t go wrong with those.
Best of luck.
