Wedding Decoration Ideas
I am getting married December 16,2007 and the them of my wedding is Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and I am trying to figure out how to decorate the reception. I want to do winter wonderland and my mom says that does not match my them. Can someone please help me to see if that would be alright or is my mom right?

I like your idea with Northern Lights, but I don`t know how you would go about trying to decorate your reception with that theme. Since your wedding is in December, I would go with the "winter wonderland" theme. There is LOTS on various websites with that theme. Just go to any search engine and type in "winter wedding theme ideas" and you will see LOTS that you can do.
Also, I do agree with your mom. It`s a little conflicting, because Northern Lights can happen anytime not just winter. I live in a beautiful northern state and we have northern lights all year!

Hi - I think your mom is correct.
I would be happy to help you with a Winter Wonderland theme something unique and if we can add the Northern lights in we will do it.

Aurora Borealis
You can use this as a theme. You just have to be a bit more creative & tap into the roots of Aurora Borealis. There are a few different directions you can go in but I don`t see why you can`t incorporate it into your theme. I have a few ideas for you. You also try utilizing the countries and folklore such as Norway and put a Norwegian spin on it. Depending on your Venue there definately ways to use your theme. This is your day!
