Asking Your Bridesmaids

I have the same question about asking your bridesmaids and was wondering if you got any creative responses. I also have 8.

I have three ideas- one friend of mine sent all of the bridesmaids cookies of a bride and groom and enclosed a cute poem. Another friend bought us our favorite bottle of wine and made wine labels with a poem asking us to be in the wedding party. I have a bridal party of 10- my bridesmaids live all over the country. I made a set of 5 homemade cards for each. On the top of the cards, I put my own homemade card filled out asked each one to be in my bridal party with a cute poem that describes how we met and how wonderful our friendship is. I bought all of the supplies at Michaels. They even have supplies to make a card that says, will you be my bridesmaid. I tied all of the cards in a bundle ( with the bridesmaid card on top) and sent it out. It takes some time to make homemade cards but it is something special to send to each person.
