I think if you`re looking for comfort, high heels would not be the way to go. Depending on how fancy your dress is will determine what you should wear for shoes. My dress is quite elaborate so I have to wear heels, but for comfort sake I`ll only be wearing a 2-1/2 inch heel. Besides the fact that I`m 5`3" and my future husband is 5`8".

Its possible to find both high and low heeled shoes that are comfortable. Fabric shoes that fit well are likely to be the most comfortable. It more depends on what sort of look you want. If you wish to create the illusion of longer legs you could wear heels under a long dress. If you might tower over your groom and you don`t want to, you might wish to go for shorter heels.

I`m looking for ivory shoes, not a big deal but I wear a size 7 and have WIDE feet. To dress up I usually wear boots! I`m not too fussy, but the only store bought shoes I`ve seen wide, are white. That`ll probably make the dress look dingy?
