Chair Covers??

Has anyone heard of using white trash bags or plastic banquet paper, used to cover tables, for making a chair cover for the ugly brown folding chairs??? Is there a pattern or some directions? Just wondering. If you have any suggestions please drop me a line .

I`m looking for an alternative to renting chair covers. I`d be willing to make them, but your idea of using plastic or paper would be excellent! Did you hear back from anyone or find any plastic or paper products that coudl be used instead.
