Should I Get The Shot Again?

I have had two deproprevera shots one in Nov 2002 and a second in February 2003. I`ve been considering not doing another shot in may 2003. I have gained a little weight, but moslty I have no energy. Is this normal. I am a very active 26 year old who before the shots worked out 5 days a week. I`m feeling very depressed too. I`m on 25mg of paxil which I was on before the shot. I am still very depressed. Is this normal?

I have been on depo for 8 years and love it. But, was 17 when I started and an active cheerleader. I had no wieght gain or depression. My sister gained and became depressed. Though, she was previously depressed, on paxil too. She is stillon it 5 years later. I would talk to your physician. Ichose depo b/c i can never remember to take pills.
