If your kids like dogs, how about a puppy party? I did one for my son and the kids loved it! I made "bone" shaped sandwiches served with peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets (looks like dog food) in dog dishes on the floor. Also painted faces and made a cardboard cutout of a dog house where I took pictures of all the kids sticking their heads out. The treat bags (doggy bags) they went home with had a tennis ball, Clifford gummy snacks, dog bone candy, and their dog dish.
