The presentation of the doll to a younger sister; again symbolizing that the Quinceañera/sweet 16 girl is ready to move on to the next stage of her life and leave her childhood behind.

At the reception, the doll may be covered with capias (favors) and carried by the madrina of the capias (female sponsor of the favors) or a court member. Either may sometimes walk with the Quinceañera/sweet 16 girl. After the capias are removed, the doll may be placed on the cake table. The doll also may be used as a theme for table centerpieces or the cake topper. In addition to this Quinceañera /sweet 16 doll, the honoree may receive a last doll. It may be dressed in a lacy ballgown or could be a baby doll, symbolizing the last toy the Quinceañera/ sweet 16 will receive in her childhood.

Hope that helps i prefer giving the doll to a younger sister
