Demand

I am thinking of starting a home based party planning venture specializing in birthdays and anniversaries, and am offering homemade baked goods. As far as i can tell from my research, there doesn`t seem to be a large number of companys offering these services around my area.

My question is do any of you know how to research demand for this service in my area?
