Wedding Chair Covers

Hi my fiance and I are getting married next june. I am a full time nursing student and will have no time to plan a wedding during the school year on top of building a new home. We are trying to get the majority of it done this summer, I would really like the instructions on how to make chair covers. We can not afford to rent them as I am a student. But I think that if i had the instructions I would be able to make them this summer. Please if anyone has instructions on how to make chair covers (for folding chairs) i would greatly appreciate it!!!!

I`m not sure how you expect to save money by making the chair covers youself. Using the cheapest material (polycotton) would cost you about $1.50 to $2.00 yd. It takes about 2 yards to make one cover. If you plan on making sashes, that`s another $1.50 yd. It takes 50 yds to make 120 sashes. You can rent chair covers and sashes starting at $3.00 if you set them up yourself. Plus, factor in all the time it would take to make them. The only machine I would use is a serger. Then wash and then iron. From your posting, it sounds like you`re super busy with school, and building a house? Wow. Save yourself the effort and rent them instead.
