HELP!!! 3,000 Budget

What area are you in? What state, city? Maybe share costs of church, rentals, etc with someone else having a wedding that weekend. I`m looking for someone to share costs with. Where is your wedding?

Im in san antonio, texas.my date is sept. 15 07.

A standard budget allocates 45% to the venue, food, drink, and cake....so that is where you need to be frugal. Outdoor weddings SOMETIMES save money, but often, they are more. Tents, flooring, dehumidifiers, fans, etc. Can really add to the cost. Find somewhere that will charge minimal fees for use of the space (churches are great options), create a bar where guests serve themselves (beer and wine are absolutely fine and less expensive than premium liquors...and you will save on the bartender). If you want a bartender, find one that will work cheap! They are out there! I used to be one. Full service catering can cost you, but if you set up family style or buffet style you can save that way.
