Eiffel Tower Vase

Okay I am new to this whole thing so if someone can help me out and answer a question I have and I must sound crazy when I say I don`t really know how this works. I am looking for the tall vase that I can place a flower center pc on. I am assuming that it is called the tower Vase but now the question is that how does the flowers sit on the tower? there is no flat surface on top to hold it ...now does the florist provide that or do I have to buy something else to place on top?
