I Want To Be Discovered

Hi. I am 13 years old and i live in florida. Ever since the 3rd garde ive wanted to be a famous sigma ,actress or poet. Im great at all three. I resently had an interview with an audition commitee, but my parents wouldnt let me go because they think its a waste of time. Im thinking wether or not i should keep trying and believing or to give up. Lost in dreams. But dont know where to go.
