Bridesmaid Brunch

Need help.

What all takes place at a bridesmaids brunch?

I was told to have a bridesmaid brunch to gather the bridesmaids and bride together.

Is there specific information that needs to be covered?
Would it be a good time to tell them of the gift registry selections and allow them to spread by word of mouth?

The Wedding date is June 2008.
