Wishing Well

We don`t see what the big deal is - our wedding is in September and we are considering doing the wishing well. We don`t associate with stuffy people who would think us rude or tacky by suggesting they give us money rather than a gift. It just makes it so much easier for our guests to slip some money in an envelope rather than go from shop to shop for hours on end having no idea what to buy us. Obviously the wishing well won`t suit everyone ... But in this day and age it seems a lot more appropriate. Well done to those who are creative enough to write your own poem. We`re not so we will have to steal some of your ideas! Thanks
