HEY WHATS UP I NOTICED THAT PARTYPOP HAS BEEN KING OF BORING LATELY SO LET LIVEN IT UP A LITTLE! SO WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS HOW ARE YOU QUINCE PLANS GOING ALONG? I DECIDED FO MY COLORS TO BE LAVENDER/SILVER AND ITS IN MARCH 20,2004. IM A TWIN SO IT WILL BE A DOUBL QUINCE. I FOUND THE DRESS AT A LITTLE BRIDAL STORE WHERE I LIVE.ITS BEAUTIFUL. I WANT TO GET A PIC ON THE NET FOR ALL TO SEE IT IS WHITE AND HAS CINDERRELA-LIKE SWOOPS OF FABRIC IN THE FRONT AND IT IS MADE OF SATIN. MY SISTER AND I DECIDED TO HAVE MATCHING DRESSES( desicion cortesey of a previous post on partypop!) I HAVE ALL OF MY DAMAS AND HALF OF THE BOYS. MY COURT IS GOING TO BE 7 BOYS AND 7 GIRLS. ME AND MY SISTER NEED TO FIND 9 BOYS THOUGH, SINCE ITS A DOUBLE QUINCE, AND THATS THE HARD PART TO FIND BOYS! AND ALTHOUGH IT IS A : COMMENLY PLAYED SONG, MY WALTZ SONG IS GOING TO BE "TEIMPO DE VALSE" HARLDY ANYBODY WHERE I LIVE EVEN KNOWS WHAT A QUINCEANERA IS, SO THE IT WILL BE A NEW SONG FOR MY QUINCE THAT NOBODY KNOWS! AND FOR MY FATHER DAUGHTER SONG I AM GOING TO HAVE LONSTARS "IM ALREADY THERE" IT IS NOT TRADITIONAL, BUT I FEEL IT IS A GOOD SONG SINCE MY DAD LIVES ACCROSS THE COUNTRY. As u know, my colors are now navy,baby blue, and touches of yellow. Half of the damas are gonna wear navy dresses and the other half are gonna wear light blue dresses. The chambelanes are gonna wear black zoot suits and my chambelan is gonna wear a white one. My dress is gonna be white and from Mary`s Bridal if I dont find a better one. Im gonna use yellow tulips. The song Im gonna use is Tiempo de Vals and the song Ima use for the father/daughter dance is La Ultima Muneca. I know Im going to use alot of balloons and tulle as decorations. Dont know anything else! (or nothing that I remember right now).

Hey well mine is gonna be cinderella theme, so my dress is going to be baby blue and for the damas i`m not sure yet. I can`t find something that looks nice adn matches. AND THIS SUX BUT I`M ONLY GOING TO HAVE DAMAS no chambelanes. That is not cool but its all good. But if would have chambelanes what kinda suits should they wear.? something that matches cinderela theme. Any suggestions? i really would appreaciated. Thanx

Hey yeah that creme/ivory sounds nice. Do u think silver ? also well i still have a year but now i need to find the music. For father/daughter dance i know which one but i wanted 2 do a a cumbia/merengue/ and or hip hop dance? what do u think? i`m open to any suggestions. Thanx

Yeah silver is good too! You can even have a cloud theme? For the dance you can do anything you want, its your quinceanera! I`ve never seen anyone do like hip hop, merenge, cumbia for the main court dance though. I`ve always seen them do a waltz. I know some ppl do hip hop, cumbia, etc for the surprise dance though. Like they just pop out and start dancing hip hop!

I am planning my Quinceanero for June 21, 2004. I`m looking at dresses on the Internet and the dresses for my damas. Also, my mom is making my brother be my escort, which I dont like at all, but theres a cute guy that I want him to be my escort, but my brother doesnt like him!!!!

Hey! Whaddup? well ok my quinceanera is coming up sooooooooooo soon!!! its 8/30/03. Thats less than 3 months! more like 2 and a half. Ok well my colors are gold/white/ and silver. My dress is like a light gold and its so pretty! im having it made and Its gonna tie in the back in a criss cross and in the front, the top is in a heart shape and i think it looks so beautiful! yea well im not gonna have damas or a chambelan de honor but i am gonna have chambelanes but only 4 tho cuz all my other friends are moving away =*(. Yea and well in the summer everyone goes to mexico and comes back practically poor so yea..its all right that way. My guys are gonna wear black tuxedoes and for the recuerdos we got them mostly in mexico and my mom bought some cute little doll magnets that have "15" on them. The cake is gonna be wedding-like and its gonna be de 3 leches, and its gonna be like a little garden and theres gonna be a little fountain in the middle of the cake! (So Pretty!!!) no, im not gonna have a theme, and the salon is gonna be decorated all gold/white/ with touches of silver. Kays well ill update laterz.!!!

Hey yall...well my quince is gonna be 12/28/03 in Gto., Mx. I don`t have a theme but I don`t care because my cousins didn`t have one and they turned out good anyway..so ya my dress is baby blue and the damas` dresses are light yellow (like tulips) i have 10 damas and 10 chambelanes. My chambelan is wearing white. That`s pretty much all i know right now. For my vals we mostly have instrumental songs by Tchaicosky (sp)

Hey well my plans have changed alot!!! I am going to have my Quinceanera together with my cousin. I chose the color baby blue and she chose the color silver, so those are our colors. The song that we are going to use for the vals is "Tiempo de Vals". The father daughter song is going to be "Tus Quince Anos" by Arkangel R-15. We are going to dance a song with the chambelanes and thats going to "Dame Una Oportunidad" by Mojado. The song that we are going to use for the court intro is "Balada para Adelina". We know which hall we are going to have it in and the church. We are not sure what food we are going to serve. We are going to get alot of the stuff in Chicago. I`ll write more laterz. CYA

Im hella happy because my quinceanera is in 4 months and its going to be october the 18 of 03. My colors are going to be pink,lilac,and white but my dress is white with pink flowers its hella cute im so happy i cant wait. But I need advice should i get the lincoln navigator or the hummer i dont know but i need a big ass limo because my padrinos and damas are going in it.

MY QUINCENAERA IS IN 27 DAYZ!!!!!!!!!! its august 30 and im HELLA excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i almost have everything ready and just workin on the finishing touches...my dress is so pretty!!!!!!its like a ivory color w/ gold stitching designs and lil pearls and sequins on it and on the bottom it has this really pretty light glittery stuff on it...SO PRETTY!!!!! im kinda worried too! the nightmares have started already fo real! i mean one night, i woke up crying.... Almost all my friends that have had quinceaneras said that they also too had nightmares about the day of the party so i guess its normal. But i do hope everything comes out!!!!! next time i write on here itll be gettin closer and closer to 8/30/03! thats less than a month..

Hey Mariana. My bday party is Aug 30th too and I have been having some nightmare. One noghtmare was that everything that could go possibly go wrong DID and the party was so boring that it finish 5 hours and 30 minuts early.

Hey my cousins quince is this saturday. She is so nervous. Her dress is baby blue and she is having 4 escorts and the one of honor. She is also nervous that she is going to fall in the vals because her escort of honor is going to carry her on his shoulders. Also she is not the kind that dances spanish music and for her surprise dance she decided to dance duranguense. (dont know if thats how you spell it) well i have been to her practices and she could do all of them except the surprise dance.

Wassup. My quince is on September the 20th. Im goin traditional. My dress is this light pink. My damas are wearin this mint green colored dress, the guys r just wearing all black tux ima have a lot of balloons and flowers and stuff.
