Black Bridesmaid Dresses For A Fall Wedding?

I was wondering if was acceptable for my brides maids to wear a black gowns in a Autumn themed wedding? I`m having trouble getting the groom`s party to color coordinate with my bridesmaids. Black seems to be the only color we can both agree on.

There are people who would say other colors would go better with a fall wedding, but bottom line is, it`s your day regardless of what date you have set, and you can certainly do whatever color you want. Jazz it up with a deep red to bring in that fall color if you want, but if black is what your heart is set on, you`ll always wish you had gone with that.

I agree! Having attended LOTS of wedding because my husband is a wedding photographer, black is always OK to wear. If you want an accent color, use a satin sash that coordinates with the flowers, or pick a gown with an accent color or colored net crinoline peaking out the bottom etc. You can have slim or wide satin sashes added to any gown and choose the colors easily.
