Bridal Shower

Is it wrong to have a bridal shower for a lady who has been married, has a whole entire household of things and getting married to someone who also has the best of everything and also has been married. These are late 50`s early 60`s age people.

No, I dont think so. Just an idea. You can make it a Theme bridal shower. For instance, if she or they have an special interest or hobby that they enjoy you can suggest gifts related to their special interest or hobby. There are various of themes you can do for a bridal shower. It doesnt have to consist of household items. Good luck planning.

No the shower is to celebrate the upcoming wedding and to make the bride feel special with family and friends around. Kind of also to take some stress off.

We are doing a recipe shower - everyone brings their favorite dish to pass with their recipe written down on the recipe card sent in with the invitation. At the end the new brides gets a new collection of recipies -

And there is nothing wrong with giving someone a shower gift. Everyone could use a new toaster or coffee maker !

Just do it and have fun !
