Hi, I just decorated a wedding last month and the bride chose a colored fabric for her isle runner(mint green). She bought a bolt, depending on the length of the isle, and to stabalize the fabric I used velcro strips. It works perfect! I then velcroed a strand of white lights down each side of the runner and layed white tulle over top of the lights to give it a perfect fairytale look. Hope this helps.
