Wedding Do-Over
Have you ever heard of anyone regretting their wedding? My husband and I rushed to plan a wedding before he was sent to Iraq. He lost his job while we were planning and his truck was repo`ed. We had a extremely hard time making the final payments. The wedding that I wanted was scaled way down to something I did not want. I tried to keep a positive attitude and think about all the fun we would have at the reception. My wedding song was changed, no one danced or participated in catching the bouquet, two thirds of the people did not even bother to show up. No one even toasted us. The people that did show up were there out of obligation. All I got was negative comments afterwards. They were there long enough to eat. No one even gave me a huge and wished us well. We wasted money on venue size, food, DJ, cake, party favors, etc. I want to do it over my way with selected people. Is that wrong? I would love to do this over. I want to use my same dress and possibly my back yard. Can someone help or give suggestions.
