Party Idea

I`ve been pondering over a party idea for my 17 year old son. He doesnt have a lot of confidence in his schoolwork, etc..and doesnt think too highly of himself, but hes about to receive his drivers license and I was thinking about having a small get together with family and friends and have a Drivers License Party. This way he might be encouraged to do better in other areas of his life and see that everyone around him is supportive of him. What do you think?
