Altanta Ideas?!?!?
I`m looking for any ideas for an Atlanta Wedding. It will be a spring time wedding. We havent decided if it will be inside or outside. Any locations would be helpful. Also themes, colors, and places to purchase nice wedding things in atlanta. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

What area are you looking to marry in? People just say "Atlanta" because that`s a local all have heard of, but are you really getting married in Atlanta or another surrounding city? That would help in choosing a venue

Why not check into Stone Mountain Park? There are some beautiful hotels located around it as well as beautiful scenery outside.
This time of year the dogwoods are blooming what a beautiful background along with the Mountain!
We had a friend do engagement Pictures ( in B&W) in the park and the carving in the background was awesome! Good Luck, let me know if I can be of help!

Stone Mountain sounds like a good idea. I`ll look into it. Ive been to the mountain before and it really is beautiful. Thanks for the advice. The only thing I`m worried bout with that is the unpredictable GA weather raining it out.

With the hotels and halls in the park you can work around the weather if need be...Maybe rent one of the halls for the reception and do the wedding outside but if the weather doesn`t cooperate, move it to the hall.
Check out the Magnolia Tea Room just outside the park for the rehearsal dinner. They have a nice banquet room and catering service too I believe. The food has always been good when I went.

Hi! I live in Atlanta and got married here last May. We chose to get married in Buford. Our ceremony was at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street and our reception was at Stonehedge which is right down the street (so close that we took a horse and carriage from church to reception). I highly recommend Stonehedge. We had the reception outside under a white canopy(there`s not enough room inside for large, 60+ weddings/receptions).
The owners went way out of their way to make sure that my wedding day was perfect. It rained that day and they made sure that there weren`t any puddles of water under or around the canopy and dried the floor using a leaf blower (I think). They also hung white lights on the canopy and were more than happy to help me whenever they could.
