Card Holders

I am having "I finally found my prince theme" and was thinking would it be nice to have a huge ivy bowl with floating lily pads with the guests names and table numbers when the guests first walk in, inside the cocktail are or do you think they will get confused??? or should I use that idea as a centerpiece?

Or are flowers more elegant. I`m confused! Thanks.
