Wedding In August!
HELP! I recently got engaged to the man of my dreams, but now the wedding is all of a sudden scheduled for the end of this August. I don`t have a big budget so I`m limited on the things I can do but I do want this to be the best day of my life. I need help finding a ceremony location, officiant, reception hall, and everything else big and small. Anyone have any ideas?

Kristi, congratulations! Hope you have time to prepare the wedding that will make you and your fiance happy! August is not too much time, but if you look into doing things yourself, and think out of the box, then you can come up with a beautiful wedding on a small budget! Make a list of the most expensive things, ie. Dress, reception location, food, flowers, etc. Then brainstorm to come up with unusual but budget saving ideas. Look into having your dress made, or altering a sample dress from a bridal shop. This can save you thousands! If you know someone who is good at arranging flowers, think of asking them to do some arrangements with a few friends. This can also save a bundle! As for a location, a tent in someone`s yard can always be made beautiful with some sheer fabric swagged around, some litle white Christmas lights entwined with it!
