Renewing Vows

My husband and I have been married for a year and four months. We didn`t have a wedding that we always wanted. It was more or less a court house wedding. We want to renew our vows next year. We want to start planning now so we won`t have to rush everything when the time comes. I just want advice on a few or alot of things. I want to wear a ballgown is that okay? Should we have a wedding cake or just a sheet cake? Do we do unity candles should we include our babies one child will be two at that time the other will be one and a half? Please answer me these questions.
