Children Having Wedding For Parents
I am writing because I as well as my two sisters are students in college trying to throw our parents a wedding. My parents have had many hardships and finally made it to year 25. They got married 25 years ago for only $1, but never had a ceremony. Like most parents, they still put us(daughters) first. In a desperate effort, we chose to give back and plan a wedding of their dreams for their 25th anniversary. Little did we know that 1,000 is just not enough. Quitting is not an option for us, but we are in serious need of help. We have send out invitations, found venue, dj, programs, food(barely), cake, but we have run out of funds for the decorations and are very nervous(considering that we have invited 150 guests).
What we need from you is any help or advice that you can give. If you have a portion that you have allotted to "give back to the community" this would be an excellent opportunity. Our parents are very active in church and in the community and have plenty of friends that are active who will be in attendance. The attendees have agreed to help send our parents on a honeymoon, but as far as the wedding, it is slowly turning into a dream deferred. If there is anyway that you could help that would be magnificent.
The wedding is May 26, 2007 at Nations Ford Community Church. Www.eric-angela.com
Thanks for your time!
Sincerely,
Erica
