Ibex Weddings Is A Fraud

I am writing to you for help. Over seven months ago, I was married in Fort Wayne, IN. We contacted a gentleman, named Alex Pearl, through a company called Ibex Studios/Ibex Productions/Ibex Weddings. This man came and video taped my wedding, I do have a picture I can provide. It has now been over seven months and we have not heard from him, we have no video in hand, and we know he is out there still maintaining his website and defrauding others out of special memories.

Over the past number of months, I have tried each way possible to track down this man. I have called many different phone numbers, many of which have been interrupted or disconnected. I have even gone to the one address I had for him, a post office box in a UPS building. It was informed by many people who now have his phone number and by the UPS gentleman that we are not the only one`s he doing this to.

Please contact me to move further to put an end to what this man has done.

I was a former videographer for Ibex back in 2005. I shot three weddings during the summer. It took over a year and several threatening e-mails back and forth in order for him to pay me. In being in the wedding (video) business for over three years I have seen and heard it all. I can tell you stories. This type of experience is not too uncommon. If anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at aaron@shuttermultimedia.com

Target 5 News interviewed my daughter Mary Clare with regard to being defrauded by IBEX/Alex Pearl. The segment aired at both 5 pm and 10 pm editions this past Monday night. Alex has miraculously reappeared and contends that although he`s out of business now, he`s planning to get these videos made `in his spare time.` But based on the investigation, he`s cheated the videographers out their $$$ so many of them are not giving him the tapes until they`re paid. He has contacted me via email but told me the sob story that the videographer who taped my daughter`s wedding is holding the tapes `hostage` and that he supposedly demanded cash. (Can`t say that I blame him). NBC also uncovered a number of other videographers who either had to wait over a year to get paid or were never paid at all. MOST IMPORTANTLY, there are two videographers who sent messages to NBC, one who did a wedding in July `06 and another in Sept. `06 who are looking to get in contact with the couples so they can make arrangements to get their tapes to them. Here`s the link to both the NBC video segment and the comments. You do have to watch a brief commercial first before the video starts: http://video.nbc5.com/player/?id=94683
I would recommend that everyone get your contact information onto that website and perhaps the word will get to whoever actually taped your weddings. You`ll see that NBC included a shot of all of the complaints contained in this message board. Let`s keep this going.

Neha (and all other IBEX victims): Alex Pearl`s info is posted on one of the other IBEX threads, but here it is again:
Alex Pearl
2014 S. 102nd Street, Apt. #306C
West Alis, WI 53227
He recently moved in with someone there, so that`s where he is now, although if he knows everyone is onto him he may try moving again. SO ACT FAST! Good luck.

I called the West Alis police department and they confirmed that the West Alis address Wendy provided is indeed an apartment building...not another UPS store. Thanks Wendy.
